Introduction to examples
This section contains examples related to the area of analytics and visualization. These examples show how you can use the mechanisms available in the AMAGE system to create your own reports, labels, maps and graphic panels.
Examples available
Analytics/Visualizations
- Maps - Generation, configuration of own backgrounds
-
The document describes the mechanism for generating, configuring and displaying your own map bases. The generation and configuration of maps is performed in two stages and the document describes how to prepare data, generate it and send it to the AMAGE system.
- Design and use of definable graphical dashboards
-
The document describes the creation and design of graphic panels/dashboards in the application. Using one simple example, we show how to define a dashboard, place it in the application structure and design its internal appearance from the tiles available in the system.
- Generation of any labels - own design
-
The document shows how to generate labels for barcode printers with your own design (your own logo, etc.). In this document, we only show the mechanism of attaching a new label design and its generation. Designing a label and all the steps needed for it are described in a separate document in the 'How to?' section on designing your own report and label appearances.
- Printing labels and reports
-
The AMAGE application has a rich resource of internal report templates and mechanisms that automatically generate labels. However, label templates do not contain all label variants available on the market. Each customer has its own possibilities of implementing the system and using its own methods of marking elements and devices. Therefore, the AMAGE application provides the ability to create your own label formats that will be used by the application to generate and print data labels. This document describes how to design labels, required/available customer data, and how to integrate into the AMAGE application.
- Configuration of label printing and printing from the system
-
The document presents the system’s capabilities in the area of printing and designing labels using built-in print customization mechanisms. The article presents a method of generating labels for any identifier in the system.
- Design and generation of reports in the application
-
The document describes how to create your own reports in the AMAGE system. In this document we show how to define a report, place it in the application structure and design its appearance using the report designer application.
